Book 2: Hard Rock Harlots Series
In Strings you meet the loud mouth, obscure, humor filled, outgoing, take life by the balls and choke you with them, Letty. Her personality is just as ridiculous as her vocabulary and her love of anal sex has you impressed. I didn't realize so many inches shoved up one's ass would be so enjoyable. Kendall Grey embodied the personalities in this book so well. Letty is more than her "meat curtains", "goose juice", and extreme overproduction of vaginal fluids. Seriously, this bitch controls a water fall between her legs. I'm surprised she doesn't look like she's wet herself. She fucking floods. :) Back to my point, you learn how deep Letty really is behind her very prominent personality. She has so much love for what she does, she knows she's good, that her band is phenomenal and she offers so much more than orifices in which huge cocks are placed simultaneously. Her heart is huge and Shades owns every piece of it. Him and his 'beautiful cock that clubs her meat curtains so well'.
Now for Jinx and Toombs. JINX AND FUCKING TOOMBS!
What amazes me is how different the writing styles are between the two books. I swear to fucking God, Kendall Grey is Letty and Jinx! She embodies the characters so well it's like night and day. These books are like night and day. Gone is Letty and her 'little bald girl in her boat', and in walks Jinx, this super shy, family girl who feels like she doesn't belong.
Jinx and Toombs rest on the opposite end of the meter. They are more withdrawn into themselves, sheltering and repressing their urges from the outside world. Jinx is shy, unsure of who she is, and warring a battle of self doubt. Toombs has dark desires that he has come to terms with but is scared of how Jinx will react to his dark craving. I fell in love with Toombs. Absolute, irrevocable, fictional love. He is deep, scarred, beautiful, genuine, and so passionate. Together they will make your heart hurt, your head spin, your loins burn, and your insides weep with girly feelings you never want to let go of.

One thing you need to know about Jinx. When it comes to Toombs, all bets are off. She seriously hearts him. One thing you should know about Toombs. He has a thing for pain and his cock is like a sparkly Christmas tree ornament.

Throughout the book, I found myself so in love with Toombs. I have a serious thing for bad boys. Serious. But, how fucking sweet he is to Jinx, with Jinx, how sweet they are together? It's the most swoon-worthy relationship I think I've found. So much pain, so much hardship, but he tries to make her better, constantly enabling her and her abilities. He also has a way with words, causing your panties to become drenched. I'm not sure what I was expecting with Toombs at first, but he is so poetic, so beautiful. He's just beautiful. So caring, sweet, sincere, loving, affectionate...so deep. He's just not the guy you preconceive him as. He's so much more.

God, I love Toombs. LOVE HIM! I'm pretty sure it's not healthy to love a fictional character this much. If I had to chose any more quotes, I would paste the entire story. Never before have I felt so passionate about two people being together. But, these two? They are made for each other. They complete each other in the absolute best way possible. I don't think I have anything more to say without reciting the entire book back to you. I FUCKING love Jinx and Toombs. Love them like a fat kid loves cake multiplied by 1000.
